Your OpenRouter API key is stored locally by the desktop app and used when analysis jobs run. Splice does not add a markup to model usage.

Choose models per game
Different games and clips benefit from different models. Splice lets you pick a model per game and override it for a single re-analysis when you want to compare results.

Control what gets sent
Depending on the model, Splice sends supported video input or extracts JPEG frames at your configured sampling rate. The game-specific prompt travels with that input so the model knows what to look for.

Keep cost in view
Sampling rate, clip length, and model pricing shape each job. Splice surfaces cost estimates and completed job costs so you can trade speed, quality, and spend deliberately.
